visited basque country for the first time. spent two and a half weeks in bilbao mostly to get a tattoo but also to enjoy a quick vacation in a new city. i didn't know much about basque country before but i fell in love with a white wine called txakoli. pretty much spent every day that i wasn't getting tattoo'd with locals that i met at bars, just drinking and eating pintxos, which are basically basque tapas. i also tried sagardoa for the first time, which is a lightly carbonated traditional basque cider. taste is somewhere between an orange wine and a beer, i really liked it.
